– he brutally beat a young gay man, with the intent of killing him, in a jail cell where the man had no way of escaping, because the man was staring at him
– he horrifically abused and sexually assaulted his girlfriend, including holding her head under a sink and threatening to drown her
– he beat his girlfriend to the point of blindness while she was pregnant and then used his fans to further intimidate her into not testifying against him
– then later said he wouldn’t change any of his actions.
i am sick of seeing people try to justify his actions and their “r.i.p” posts by saying “his music was good”.
i have empathy for the family and friends who knew him before he was violent and abusive but the man himself deserves no respect. he lost that right because of his actions and karma caught up with him.
the bottom line is death does not automatically give you a free pass from being a horrible person in life.
if you would like to donate to geneva ayala, the abused woman in question, here is a link to her gofundme. her goal for her surgeries is already met, but she is currently trying to move away from the city to find refuge from the harassment she is facing from her abuser’s fans. she still needs help with living expenses, etc. so please spread the word and consider donating if you are able.

Happy Pride Month to those who can’t celebrate it
Pride Month is coming up! As a gay Russian, I feel the need to bring this up again.
Please do not forget about our LGBT brothers and sisters in Chechnya.
LGBT persecution in Chechnya, Russia is still going on. Gay people are beaten, kidnapped, tortured, and killed simply for existing. There are legitimate concentration camps for the LGBT in Chechnya, that have existed for at least a year or more. Hundreds have gone missing and been killed. Western media has no longer given this crisis any time, and help has completely slowed down. Please do not forget about this again. Please do not let LGBT Russians die without at least trying to help.
Here is a donation link to the Russian LGBT network, which can give direct help to those affected in Chechnya (English): https://help.lgbtnet.org/chechnya-en
Here is another link: https://www.dalecameronlowry.com/how-to-make-donation-russian-lgbt-network/
(The actual Russian LGBT website, lgbtnet.org, is not working on my computer. Otherwise I would link it directly.)
Please keep your islamphobia, xenophobia, transphobia, homophobia, and racism off this post. Thank you, and pray for Chechnya.
also to expand on what i was talking about earlier, straight people get annoyed when gay people “talk about being gay so much” because they fail to realize that we aren’t just talking about how much we like to fuck or w/e like. it’s about being apart of a community with culture, one that has rich history that we can find meaning and support from that doesn’t exist in the wider world. straight people don’t get how rich and rewarding our identities are and they don’t get that it took a long time for most of us to accept ourselves. they literally do not understand any of that and don’t want to.
when it comes to being straight, there is no history or culture behind that, it usually is all about romance and/or sex to them, its almost like they literally forget that we have a huge culture and history.
so that leads to them taking “i love being gay” as “oh you’re shoving the fact that you like to fuck other women in my face i get it shut up” when its like?? not about that at all?
i mean even if it was, it would STILL be different than straight people talking about sex, because gay people have been demonized for having gay sex for decades, but thats beside the point. i’m just. tired of straight people saying this
