A summary of Symmetra’s rework:

• Symmetra has been moved from Support to Defence

Turrets:

• will now be projectile and travel infinitely like Pharah’s rockets but will move not super fast (devs are testing if it could be destroyed or attacked in mid-air)
• reduced to a maximum of 3 which can be held and deployed
• currently have 30 health but that aspect could be changed
• this makes it look like you are deploying 2 turrets at a time now

Primary Fire:

• will be similar to Zarya’s primary fire (YOU NOW HAVE TO AIM LOL)
• still charges up (from 30/60/120 dps to 65/130/195 dps) and gets powerful but takes more time to charge
• when it hits a barrier or shield, it REGENERATES AMMO instead of consuming your ammo (anti shiiieeeld)

Alternate Fire:

• reduced from 2 seconds to fully charge to 1 second
• faster and explodes on impact

Teleporter:

• no longer an ultimate but an ability with a 25 second cooldown
• an entrance and an exit can be set within 25 metres; it will probably be similar to how mei’s wall can be placed where she can set the teleporter from afar and the entrance automatically gets built right in front of symmetra (description how its set is kinda vague but we can assume that)
• could teleport you and your teammates
• could also teleport a junkrat tire, dva bomb, and torbjorn turret
• more vulnerable as the health of each is reduced to 300 and if one teleporter is destroyed, both are destroyed
• doesnt last infinitely and closes at a set time

Ultimate:

• it will be a static photon shield instead of a moving one
• similar to Mei’s ice wall where it can be set either vertically or horizontally but this extends across the entire map
• so it can be set from the spawn and extend infinitely like Hanzo’s ultimate
• Shield Generator is no more
