overwatch league has a problem where players are allowed to be openly misogynistic and homophobic and fans + producers are still just like “oh well ! theyre really good at the game though !” like there are other good players.
“i think it’s important that overwatch league is global and not region locked” just gender locked.
imagine how mad men would be if there was a parity rule, at least 50% of your team must be women. they’d be so angry if they had to compete with women to get into the teams.
imagine if any misogyny from viewers and players was a bannable offence in competitive and women felt safe enough to compete.
