That fact that anyone working with food in America doesn’t have guaranteed paid sick days is a health hazard to the public.
no but for real, the CDC has said the leading cause of foodborne illness is the lack of sick days for people who work in the food industry and that it costs billions a year to the economy.
i was talking to my cousin yesterday and he was talking about an accidental mistake he was dealing with, and proceeded to describe it as, “i picked a whole fuckin’ bouquet of whoopsie-daisies” and tbh i’m still thinking about it

so while we’re at it lemme mention that this new tag filtering thingie does in fact only work with what’s written in the tags (it won’t work if that word is within the rest of the post) and that it only filters it if the tag is exactly what you blacklisted
i.e, if you add a filter for posts tagged “#slurs”, you’ll still see them if they are tagged like “#slurs /” or “#slurs [bunch of numbers]” so just a heads up
