its good to investigate claims, especially dramatic ones, but remember that the VAST MAJORITY of people opening donations online really are struggling and the fact that theres a tiny minority of scammers shouldnt stop you from showing generosity if you otherwise would

someone just said danger days was made just for money with no cohesive message like …. that’s the EXACT opposite of what they did, the whole point of the album was anti-corporation and anti-capitalism and pro-self expression which is the exact opposite of making it for money…. and the message relates to those topics as well as learning to let go of what you had that’s the whole purpose of the apocalypse forcing the characters to lose everything they had it’s about accepting change and loss and growing up and was the perfect way to finish their discography
